The texture was light, smooth, and mild with a lot of slippage, which gave it that shine and made it feel comfortable on my lips over time. As smooth as the formula was, it sat beautifully on my lips. The color lasted well for three hours and felt moisturizing over time.

The formula is said to be “deeply moisturizing” and “melt” with a “splash of color” on the lips and provide long-term moisture. It is described as “medium-sized” and “irreverently shiny”. The color coverage was typically medium as described, although some of the deeper shades were more buildable for a semi-opaque coverage.
They’re a very, very creamy, emollient formula; They slide if they melt against the lips during application, and the application feels luxurious but can be easily over-applied. It’s just the kind of texture that lends itself to over-application without adding more opacity. So I recommend being careful to make sure each tube is being used adequately. Fortunately, they don’t feel thick or overly slippery at one point, so it doesn’t feel like the lipstick is constantly moving while you wear it.
They have a high gloss, almost glossy finish that often smoothed my lip lines without settling in, and the latter made it more impressive due to the amount of color and slip. The wearing time varied from shade to shade, but typically ended up between three and five hours. Some shades leave a faint stain – usually the medium and darker shades. Is a lighter, medium red with neutral to cool undertones and a glossy finish. It had quite a bit of slip – a little shinier and sleeker than others in the range, which says something! – so it was easy to transfer or apply outside of the natural lip line. The consistency was still very smooth, light, and comfortable to wear, and despite all this slipping, it wasn’t prone to streaking.
It had a medium color payout that stuck to my lips fairly evenly but appeared to be an uneven touch on the inner area of my lips. It stayed good for three and a half hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.
