There are some unexpected beauty products that have become workhorses for me:
1. L’Oreal’s True Match Foundation in Porcelain Rose – Just when I was about to give up on finding a long-lasting foundation at a reasonable price for porcelain with pink undertones, L’Oreal’s expanded color palette was added. I’ve worn it consistently for the past few years and it has never let me down. The bonus is that it is often for sale too.
2. Argon Oil – Ever since I tried the Physicians Formula Argon Oil after Isabella Muse reviewed it, it has worked wonders for my skin. I’ve also used chia seed oil and hemp oil, but the best I come back to is argon oil. Nowadays I buy Moroccan argon oil from The Ordinary because it is easily available and very cheap. I even used my twin sister to use it.
3.Rimmel’s translucent setting powder. After my great disappointment with the expensive Laura Mercier with a minimal amount of product, I’ve tried this one and can’t seriously tell the difference.
4. ColourPop’s Lux lipstick range – no matter how bad your eyeshadows can be, the Lux lipstick range is fabulous and Tea Thyme and Foolish in particular are my everyday favorites. Comfortable and hydrating on the lips.
