There are so many brands I’m done with and that doesn’t include problem brands (for me, that would be anything NOT cruelty free).
Based on publications and offers, I’m DONE with Tarte, TooFaced, Smashbox, NYX, BareMinerals, Dominique Cosmetics; a few brands sway on the edge of this cliff (Huda, KVD, Lime Crime). Since I can’t stand glitter and repeated gold shades any longer, Pat McGrath (the nail in that coffin came after I was repeatedly assured by the brand that they – and all third party manufacturers – are cruelty free and are about to get their certification, I didn’t see an update on their website).
There’s a core group of brands I’m still interested in and indies dominate most of my shopping these days.
