Skin Care – I like the sample sizes for travel. The moisturizers you get with GWP come in handy again for travel or when I have to attend an event after work and touch up an X product like All About Eyes. Some lines have Christmas gift sets that contain minis and these come in handy. Even if it’s just an overnight trip, it means I don’t have to lug around the full size product. Will be difficult.

Fragrances – The minis are great for touching up or in case I forget to wear a fragrance. However, it is difficult because in some workplaces scent is not wanted or a scent needs to be light. Also great for travel as I can take a small size of my favorite fragrance or two. I also like the minis or smaller sizes when it comes to testing a fragrance. I’m not going to spend $ 300 on a Tom Ford fragrance. If I spend the $ 80, I can test it with dedication.

Cosmetics – I like the mini mascaras. Weather conditions and transit make it necessary to make improvements at work. The minis are great. Don’t worry about mini lipglosses and lipsticks. I always had a small makeup bag in my desk drawer – a mini eyeshadow palette, GWP blush, manicure scissors, mini eyeliners, etc. – just in case.

The disadvantages? Some of the prices for the minis can really add up. The 10ml fragrances and rollerballs are much more expensive than the full size product and you are paying for the convenience. Trial or not, or whether you use it as a wallet size product. The smaller lipsticks can break, but that’s the risk you take if you never use the product. Some of the examples don’t have a lot of product and you really can’t tell if they will work for you if you only get a use or two. Some department stores will sometimes offer you a 10 day primer and you’ll get a better feel for whether it will work for you and if it’s the right shade. Mainly as with normal sized products, there are many hits and misses.
