Well … who doesn’t like free stuff? 😁
Gifts with the purchase are a great way for the brand to motivate customers and create added value. On the other hand, I would prefer a larger discount on my shopping cart (items that I actually need or want) than additional free items.
I have certainly discovered a lot of new products that I would not have tried as a gift to buy, so this could be a great way to discover new products. But it’s a success or a failure. You may also receive products that do not work or cannot be used for you. I usually try to return items to my family and friends that I don’t use so as not to be wasteful.
I like it when brands offer 2-3 options to choose from with gifts when buying, at least I can choose the best option for me.
I also prefer gifts when purchased are real products, not bags, stickers, pins, books or similar items.
I also like it when gifts are mini-sets when bought that I can use for travel (more of the past and hopefully of the near future).
What I don’t like so much is when gifts repeat themselves when I buy something, especially when I buy from one brand a lot. Yes … I like to have a mini-peptide booster with my Paula’s Choice orders from time to time; But I also always have 3-4 mini 2% BHA liquid scrub backups at any time.
