Almost everyone who does not live in New York City shrinks from the cost of housing. In fact, most New Yorkers shy away too.

Because of this, it makes sense for TikTok to roast a $ 22 million apartment on what is known as the city’s “billionaire row” – a street of luxury residential buildings near Central Park South. Like any property in New York, it’s small, overpriced, and nothing special.

Here are some of my favorite eco-friendly products that bring out the cold:

Luxury real estate agent Nicole Gary took a tour of the eight-figure apartment. It had a living room with two large floor-to-ceiling windows, a similarly designed smaller bedroom, a large kitchen, and a medium-sized bathroom.

TikTok users were eager to share their disappointment with the expensive apartment. The clip received 3.4 million views.

“$ 22 million for something with no backyard,” wrote one person.

“What a waste of money,” someone commented.

“The most expensive cupboard with a view I’ve ever seen,” wrote another.

New York City housing is notoriously expensive with very little space. The average one-bedroom rental is down 12 percent year over year to $ 2,560. The city is essentially in a housing shortage. There are just too many people here and not enough space. Scarcity creates demand which, with gentrification, drives up prices.
