Thanks to Westglades Middle School’s parent-teacher organization, students will soon have outdoor dining options.
After being approached by parents and administrators, the Westglades PTO started a fundraiser to buy garden furniture for the school lunch break.
Headmaster Matthew Bianchi said Westglades is doing its best to provide containment strategies to its students during this surge.
“We would like to thank the parents who have already contributed to this project and encourage others to take part in the fundraiser,” he said.
The school is hoping to raise $ 11,000 to provide 25 outdoor tables.
