New Delhi: For those who usually forget their social media passwords, the latest Twitter news can be cause for joy! The microblogging site, which gives its users the option to choose between their email ID and phone number to log in, followed by a password they cannot forget, will soon be able to log their users in with their Google account.

According to Mashable India, things could get easier with Twitter logins in due course as the popular microblogging platform is reportedly working on a way to allow users to log in with a connected Google account.

According to reports, the option has already been enabled in Twitter’s beta app for Android users. The beta version of the Twitter app currently allows users to sign in to Google as one of the options, but it is speculated that an additional option could be added for the iOS version of the app to allow users to sign in to Apple. `Twitter has not yet responded to this.

According to Mashable India, there is no information on when these new sign-in options will be made available to users, but since they are in beta it might not take too long for users to see them ready for the main app. Also read: Ola Electric can deliver e-scooters to customers’ doorsteps, check price, range and other details

If a user is already part of Twitter’s beta program, it should be a must to update the Twitter app to version v9.3.0-beta.04, which is now being rolled out via the Google Play Store. The users who want to join the Twitter beta cycle can sign up for the tester program. This will allow early access to some of Twitter’s testing capabilities.
