Sometimes we delete messages that are really important to us for a number of reasons, including a typo or because you sent a message to the wrong person. Facebook’s own messaging app has yet to reveal any such features that could help you get deleted messages back. However, there is one hack that only works for Android and not iOS.
There are few apps that can make things easier than before, but that comes with certain drawbacks. For example, with Notisave you have to endure the advertisements and this paid version costs Rs 65 per month which allows you to retrieve important deleted messages. Other than that, apps like Notisave can only restore simple text messages and cannot retrieve media files including GIFs, pictures and videos.
WhatsApp comes with a seven-minute window that is made available to users for further use of the “delete for all” function in chats. That basically means if a user doesn’t delete a message within seven minutes, they can delete it, and that goes for both group and individual chats.
