Islamabad [Pakistan] September 27 (ANI): The Pakistani Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, claimed on Sunday that the family of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had flats in London with corruption money earned during the construction of the Lahore-Islamabad motorway bought.
The M-2 Highway is a north-south highway in Pakistan connecting Rawalpindi / Islamabad with Lahore and is the first highway built in South Asia.

Fawad is currently Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting under the leadership of Pakistan Tareek-e-Insaf (PTI).
His remarks came at a time when Pakistan’s financial debt continues to rise under the rule of his own party. The country’s total debt has risen to Rs.149 trillion in three years under Imran Khan-led Pakistan.
The government of Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) reported in the country’s slang media, according to an annual report by the State Bank of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s national debt had risen over eight percent in eleven months of the fiscal year ending June as government borrowing to meet spending needs rose during the COVID-19 pandemic, The News International reported, citing government data in July.
After three years of government formation by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan has not achieved what his party had promised the people in its 2018 manifesto, local media reported. (ANI)
