Matt said in a darkly lit Instagram video taken one night in what appeared to be a forest, “Everyone has told me that other people’s secrets are beyond me to tell, but they are destroying me, and they have destroyed me for it.” a long time.

“I’m cold and I have no money. And I hardly have anything to eat.”

He went on to say that the producers first introduced Alaskan Bush People based on the late Family Patriarch Billy’s book describing how they lived by candlelight.

When production on the show began, producers wanted the family to act like they lived that way, but Matt admitted that they actually had modern conveniences like a generator, TV, and a box of movies.

When he went to Betty Ford’s rehab to try to sober up, he said he learned that the root of his problem in his life was on the show.

Matt said, “I loved filming the show, but I didn’t like lying about how I live and how things are in life.”

He also said of his finances, “We made a lot of money on the show and because my dad controlled everything, all the money went to him … I had no money or anything. My dad kept it all.” “”

A representative for the Alaskan Bush People did not immediately respond to The Sun’s request for comment.

Yesterday, Matt admitted that some people still won’t accept him after his addiction struggle

Yesterday Matt shared a video called “100% My 50%”.

On the clip he said, “I’ve looked in the mirror so many times and I’ve been shaggy and dirty and I looked crazy and everything. And these days I stay clean and shave because when I look in the mirror, I am I don’t want to see this guy.

“The hardest thing for me is that there are people in this world who just don’t accept it, no matter how I look, what I do or how long I have my things together.

“And the hardest thing is to live around them and see them and see how they react and what they say, which reality just doesn’t reflect in any way. That’s a lot that I have to try and understand at times and agree to it. “

Last month Matt titled another Instagram video, “Face your fears, it’ll be fine. I love you.”

He said in the clip, “Yesterday I hit a milestone – a year completely sober. In the past three years I’ve been sober, but I’ve slipped three times. And the last time I slipped was on March 20th last year.

“So I wanted to tell everyone if life is tough for you, or if these difficult circumstances we’re all in right now have caused you to slip, fall back, or just get into a mindset that you don’t like, it’s human. It happens to all of us and it will all be fine.
