Twelve-year-old Bertie Pilkington is preparing to say goodbye to his long locks with just the second haircut of his life – in favor of charity.
He will donate his golden locks to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children with cancer.

Bertie, who also wants to raise £ 550 for the trust, last had her hacked when she was four.
Proud mom Jo Munting, 49, of Newbury, Berks, said, “He wanted to cut it down at the end of elementary school but decided to keep it long because he’d get more money if he waited.”
“He’s braver than me.
“He cut it when he was four years old, but it was only under duress – he just cut it so it wouldn’t look scruffy.
