Hyundai India has announced smiles on the faces of auto enthusiasts – South Korean automakers will launch performance-driven N-Line sub-brands in India this year. For beginners, the N Line is a further development of the standard Hyundai model to give the Hyundai everyday car a sporty look with a focus on driving dynamics. Hyundai has withheld the name of the first N-Line model released here, but teasers (and video) have almost confirmed that the Hyundai i20 N-Line will arrive on time for the Christmas season. ..

The teaser also gives a look at the double pipe exhaust of the i20 N series. This is the N-line and the standard i20, along with other additional features like a checkered flag-style grille and 17-inch, two-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the i20 N-Line hasn’t changed much from the standard hatchback, but with red contrast stitching, red accents on the dashboard elements, thick gear levers, aluminum pedals and a new interior that is unique to the N-Line. Can be motif and infotainment system adaptation.

When it comes to the powertrain, the i20 N-range can get a single engine option – a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 120 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. The stock i20 1.0 Turbo has a smart 6-speed manual transmission (iMT) and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and it’s unclear whether the i20 N range offers the same options. Hyundai decides to please the gasoline head by offering a good ol ‘manual transmission option. Expect fine adjustments to the chassis and suspension too. This makes driving the i20N range more comfortable than a standard car.
Given its position as an ambitious performance-driven product, the Hyundai i20 N line will likely only be offered in full-featured specs, so prices are expected to be in the Rs 11-13 range (outside the showroom). Be done. And this is the first of many N-Line models that Hyundai has promised to hit the market in India.
