counting stars
Terra Moons Counting Stars Cosmic chameleon shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Is a very light, bluish base with a shift from green to purple paired with a metallic sheen. It had an almost opaque paint cover with a soft, smooth consistency that was squeezed more loosely, but not to the point of failure. It was applied evenly to bare skin and faded out without difficulty. This hue lasted well for eight hours before visibly fading.

Formula overview
$ 13.00 / 0.05 oz. – – $ 260.00 per ounce
The formula is supposed to be a cross between “vibrant metallic and iridescent chameleon,” so they have a stronger color base but a multi-colored shift. The brand recommended applying them over an eyeshadow primer and in a thin layer to “intensify the shift,” though I personally didn’t find the primer necessarily affecting the shift as they were obviously used on their own.
They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was slightly emollient but not too thick or too tightly packed in the pan so it was easy to pick up the product with a dry brush, as well as fingertips / dampened brushes if desired. The eyeshadow was applied evenly to the bare skin and faded out well at the edges.
The lively, more colorful base has helped make these easier to combine with other eyeshadows as well. Those who find multichrome daunting can start with this type of multichrome. They lasted between seven and eight hours before they creased visibly.

Rule of Terra
Terra Moon’s reign of the Terra Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Is a rich, inky-purple base that switched from blue to copper and has contrasting gold and copper flecks in its metallic finish. There was more of a shift between blue and copper, but it was harder for me to see the gold.
The texture was smooth, easily pliable, and mixable without being thick or too tightly squeezed into the pan. It had rich pigmentation in a single layer that lasted well for eight hours before visibly fading.
