Sydney Grace Dear Readers, Pressed pigment shade ($ 6.00 for 0.06 oz.) Is a lighter, light-medium lavender with neutral undertones and a light, metallic finish.
For those following on Instagram, I shared this shade along with three other versions I received for Temptalia (in the Radiant Reflection palette). This was shade three (I chose shade four as the Temptalia shade) which received an overwhelming amount of support and love. It was also the color I gravitated towards, but the coolness didn’t go as well with the Radiant Reflection story as compared to the fourth color (which is warmer and has a warmer sheen).
I also felt that the color was a bit like Lunar Illumination that was already finished and made, but with so many readers falling in love with this color, I felt terrible not to choose it! It never hurts to ask, so I actually asked Sydney Grace if it would be possible for her to consider doing this shade as a single … and they said yes. I didn’t even plan for it to be part of the collaboration, I just wanted to be able to tell readers that it would come one day! For this reason, of course, I dearly called it Reader.
With lower lighting (interior, filtered sunlight, shade, etc.) it is cooler and with brighter light (outdoors, direct sunlight) it is a little warmer, rosier. It has a very glossy finish, which in my opinion was one of the reasons this and fourth shade captured so many readers’ hearts!

The shimmering eyeshadows have a more uniform pigmentation, with most of the nuances having an opaque color coverage. The more metallic / glittery the shade, the creamier and smoother the eyeshadow feels in the pan, which often resulted in a really smooth application and good adhesion to the lid, although some do better with a fingertip or a moistened brush for a fidelity – Pan color or to get a more real finish / shine.
Most of the shades worked fine with brushes, however, and I had no problem applying or fading out most of the shimmer colors. The more satin to mother-of-pearl-like surfaces tend to feel a bit thinner, but blend well. These hues lasted between eight and nine hours with me, with some of the more foil-like colors creasing noticeably in the end (and the less foil-like ones fading).
