MANCHESTER CITY and Paris Saint-Germain were beaten up by Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoeneß for their lack of Champions League success.

Although both City and PSG are dominant in their respective leagues, the pair continue to miss out on success in the Champions League.
In contrast, the 69-year-old’s former FC Bayern has won the coveted European Prize several times – for a fraction of what City and PSG have.
The Bundesliga champions defeated PSG and won the trophy in 2020, an achievement that Hoeneß expects to be repeated in the future.
And he admitted the thought of hitting both sides to be crowned for the continent’s good keeps him going.

“These teams will continue to lose to us in the future. Not always, but sometimes.
“And if we beat them, I’ll party like a wild animal.”
But Hoeneß, who is now Bavaria’s president for life after half a century as a player and managing director, wasn’t finished there and aimed at a personal attack on PSG’s Qatari boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Hoeneß, who was also in jail for tax evasion, claimed that although both are fine, he had to work for his fortune while Khelaifi’s fortune was turned over to him.

And he also suggested that the PSG supremo get help from the head of his home country if he wants to buy a player.
The retired striker scolded: “The difference between him and me is that I worked hard for my money and he got his gifts.
“If he wants to sign a player, he just calls the emir of his country.”
