To capitalize on the latest James Bond movie hype, I don’t have time to die, Land Rover has announced a special edition of its Defender V8 SUV called the Defender Bond Edition. For many years, the world’s most popular spies have driven a variety of vehicles, but have always been associated with Aston Martin sports cars. However, the Land Rover SUV is widely used in several Bond Story articles. The production of the Defender Bond Edition, developed by Land Rovers SV Bespoke Division, is limited to 300 units worldwide.

The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is available in 90 (3-door) and 110 (5-door) versions and has a grueling aesthetic like the Defender SUV that will be featured in the next Bond movie. The Bond Edition features a black styling package, black 22-inch alloy wheels with xenon blue brake calipers and a 007 emblem. The inscription extends to an illuminated tread and PiviPro Infotainment displays the 007 start screen. In addition, each of the 007 puddle lamps and the 300 copies have a lasered number.
Mechanically, the Bond Edition is practically identical to the standard Land Rover Defender V8, with the same 5.0-liter V8 supercharged gasoline engine producing 525 hp and 625 Nm. The stated 0-100 mph time for the Defender V890 is 5.2 seconds, but the top speed is stated at 150 mph, making it the fastest Defender ever.
There is currently no confirmation as to whether any of the 300 copies of the Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition will be available to Indian customers. The film itself, I Have No Time To Die, will be shown in cinemas around the world on September 30, 2021.
