5G

In addition, the Realme X7 Max 5G includes a variety of 5G features, including multiple bands, dual standby and standalone modes on both SIMs, and 5G carrier aggregation.

TO MARK

The big highlight of the Realme X7 Max 5G is that the smartphone enhances your multimedia experience, especially when playing games and streaming video. If you want to buy a smart yet powerful smartphone, you can quickly fall in love with it.

DESIGN

In terms of design, the newly introduced Realme X7 Max 5G is slim and light, although it is a 5G smartphone, it measures 158.5 × 73.3 × 8.4 mm and weighs 179 grams. The phone looks pretty high quality. As already mentioned, the device is not heavy, so it sits comfortably in the hand and you can hold it in your hand for longer. The grip of the device is good and you will easily feel comfortable using it too. In addition, the housing is IPX4-certified for splash protection.

A triple camera setup can easily be seen on the back of the device, the Realme branding with the big ‘Dare to Leap’ slogan. The back area looks nice and the good thing about it is that it doesn’t take fingerprints. Plus, the company offers a free, decent transparent cover so you don’t have to worry about the cover. In terms of overall design and looks, the Realme X7 Max 5G did not disappoint.

On the right edge of the device, the Realme X7 Max 5G houses the power button and on the left there is a dedicated space for a dual nano card slot and the volume buttons. On the bottom, the device has a USB type C charging port, Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Dolby Atmos performed very well in the test period. Overall, the spokesman did a good job here.

CONNECTIVITY and SENSORS

The connectivity options of the Realme X7 Max 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac / Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, 3G, 4G, SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC Bluetooth audio codec and NFC . The sensors include a magnetic induction sensor, a light sensor, a proximity sensor, a gyrometer, and an acceleration sensor.

CAMERA

In terms of camera performance, this Realme X7 Max 5G has a 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor accompanied by an 8 MP ultra wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The device has many built-in features including 64MP mode, super night mode, panoramic view, expert, time lapse, portrait mode, HDR ultra wide, ultra macro, AI scene recognition, AI beauty, filter, PF mode, super text, face distortion correction, passport photo and more .

When reviewing the Asteroid Black variant, we used every single mode to check camera performance and we found that the 64MP mode, super night mode, and portrait mode provided very sharp and detailed images in different lighting conditions. The pictures we took were colorful and bright. The Realme X7 Max 5G did not get stuck when taking multiple shots with different modes. However, if you compare the pictures taken with the Realme X7 Max 5G in low light conditions in normal settings with the Xiaomi Mi 11x 5G, which bears the same price, the Realme device has given stiff competition here. The videos were well received on this device as well.

BIG USP

Let’s talk about one of the main USPs of the Realme X7 Max 5G. And we think the display on this newly introduced phone from Realme is superb and extremely fast. The Realme X7 Max 5G has a 6.43-inch full-screen Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 FHD +, an aspect ratio of 20: 9, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz.

Compared to the touch sampling rate of 120 Hz, the Realme X7 Max 5G has an automatic sampling rate adjustment function that largely balances power consumption and performance. In game mode, it reaches a sampling rate of 360 Hz, and the touch is more user-friendly and the response is faster.

In the upper left corner of the display is a punch-hole camera with an in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition, which worked pretty smoothly and without lag during the test period. The overall experience using the screen was amazing. The colors also come into their own on the screen in direct sunlight.

On the front, the Realme X7 Max 5G houses a 16 MP selfie camera with an f / 2.5 aperture. When taking pictures and videos with the selfie camera, the device took good pictures in daylight, but not sharpness in low light.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE

In terms of performance, the Realme X7 Max 5G is the first smartphone in India to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset, which offers improved overall performance with increased energy efficiency. The processor is not only more powerful, but also more efficient. In addition, Dimensity 1200 has built-in 5G baseband for lower latency, improved energy efficiency and improved temperature control. This makes the smartphone gaming experience smooth and lag-free.

The Realme X7 Max 5G runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The good thing is that the interface is very easy to use and users may not have any problems. We experienced lag-free gaming when playing games like Garena Free Frie, Asphalt 9: Legends, Call of Duty: Mobile, and other light players. The graphics quality was good in both normal and high settings. Overall, the Realme X7 Max 5G was fast and smooth, switching between apps like social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Instagram was easy, and the performance was flawless.

BATTERY

In terms of battery performance, this newly launched Realme smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with a 50W SuperDart charger. After a full charge, the phone could last over a day of normal to heavy use. The good thing was that the device didn’t heat up for hours while playing games and streaming video. However, the battery ran out quickly.

FINAL JUDGMENT

The Realme X7 Max 5G has a starting price of Rs.26,999 and is a decent gaming smartphone with top-end features. This smartphone competes with popular smartphones like Oppo F19 Pro Plus 5g, OnePlus Nord CE 5G, Xiaomi Mi 11x, Samsung Galaxy A 52 and more.
