Rapper Money Mitch reportedly killed himself after opening fire on police during a car chase in Florida.
Police officers reportedly found the body of the musician, real name Mitchell Holmes, in an apartment in Lake Park on June 23.

Police conducted a traffic stop and the musician reportedly got out of his Uber and started shooting at Palm Beach County MPs.
He was not hit by the gunfire and fled to a building about a block away, where police officers found blood.
Frank DeMario of the PB Sheriff’s Office said they thought the rapper was wounded in the shooting but found out he was fatally shot.
Police officers said they were monitoring him, WPTV reports.
DeMario said, “We followed him to a building and on the second floor we noticed blood droppings on the first floor. We thought he was wounded.
“We weren’t involved in the shooting.”
Police posted a picture of the gun between his legs on social media.

Two police officers were given leave of absence.
It is reported that neither was injured in the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
The rapper’s family haven’t spoken about his death, but friends have confirmed Mitch’s death, according to Focus.
Rapper Risk GG wrote on Instagram: “I will never be the same again.
“I love you, little brother, thanks for everything (sic).”

Holmes took the name Money Mitch from his brothers and has called him that since he was a teenager, reports US Day News.
He said that his brothers were his greatest inspiration and started making music when he was just 12 years old.
The musician said: “You (my brothers) always raped around me as a kid and were a big reason I started rapping because I was close to them.”
Mitch allegedly used to play soccer but quit middle school after deciding that music “became more important.”
The up and coming Floridian’s first hit was 813 Anthem, which garnered over 2,000 views on YouTube and Spotify.
In December 2020 he released a song with the rapper SpotemGottem, real name Nehemiah Harden.
Her track “Charged Up” has been viewed over 200,000 times on YouTube.
Money Mitch reportedly produced around 10 songs along with music videos this year.
And he had around 15,000 followers on social media.
