New Delhi: OnePlus is preparing to launch new products in the country in the near future. The OnePlus 9R could be the next OnePlus smartphone arriving in India next month. The OnePlus 9RT was recently unveiled by the Chinese smartphone maker, and the same model is likely to appear in India soon.
OnePlus usually releases its phones in India first, but this wasn’t the case with the 9RT. In fact, the phone is about two months late, leaving Indian customers unhappy.
The company has not yet announced the actual disclosure date, so these are just rumors. According to the latest rumors, the OnePlus 9RT will appear in India on December 16.
OnePlus 9RT or OnePlus RT?
According to rumors and leaks that are circulating on the Internet, the OnePlus 9RT will appear under a different name in India. But why is it like that? Well the company is probably trying to avoid negative press for releasing a phone this late in the country. Consumers, on the other hand, are aware of this. It should be noted that the company is yet to confirm the final retail name.
Specifications
Apart from the name, the OnePlus RT is said to have the same functions as the OnePlus 1. This suggests that the smartphone will have a 6.62-inch FHD + OLED display with a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and a punch-hole camera.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor and comes with a 4500 mAh battery that supports 65 W fast charging from the factory.
The OnePlus 9RT (OnePlus RT Indian model) has a 50 MP primary sensor, 16 MP wide angle lens, and 2 MP macro lens in terms of camera specs. The phone has a 16 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls.

The OnePlus 9RT costs from CNY 3,299 (approx. 38,600 rupees) in China. This is for the entry-level model that has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The model with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage costs 3,499 CNY (approx. 40,900 rupees), while the model with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage costs 3,799 CNY (approx. 40,900 rupees). (that is approximately Rs. 44,400).
While we don’t have a final price for the OnePlus RT in India, rumors and leaks suggest it will be below 50,000 rupees. We’ll have to wait until next month for the brand’s formal pricing announcement.
