Joshua and Fury were all but ready to put any heavyweight belt on the line in Saudi Arabia on August 14th.
But that was until news broke that a U.S. judge ruled in arbitration in Wilder’s favor, meaning Fury will now either have to pay the American to step aside or give him a third fight in their series.
Matchroom promoter Hearn, a driving force in securing a deal for the all-British federation, hopes the historic clash can still be saved.
But he admitted it’s out of his hands and questions a support option for Usyk, 34, who is Joshua’s WBO challenger.
However, Usyk Hearn sent a message earlier today regarding the possible fight – and he seems to want the Englishman to get a lot of money.
In a video clip posted on his Instagram, he said, “Hi Eddie, I want money. More money.”
Talks are believed to be underway for AJ to take on Usyk on August 21 or 28, should Fury choose to fight Wilder.
Hearn has given Fury a chance to make a decision on their next fight until the end of the week before talks with Usyk continue.

Tyson Fury brutally mocks Wilder’s 26 “excuses” for losing their rematch
On Matchroom Boxing’s YouTube channel, he said, “I focused on Plan A. The only fight we’d thought of was Tyson Fury.
“We hope that this fight can take place on August 14th.
“The game changed last night when we have to have a plan B and probably a plan C.
“We have different options. Of course, I immediately think of Oleksandr Usyk’s WBO.

“You have been very patient and I really think we are in a situation where we have no choice but to look for an alternative until the end of this week if Team Fury fail to come together and pull themselves together in a fight.”
Fury, 32, dethroned Wilder, 35, from the WBC belt in February 2020, but his contract included an immediate rematch.
This was never realized amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the Gypsy King’s team argued the provision expired in October.
As a result, they started talks with Joshua, 31, while Wilder took his case to a civil court. And after months, the decision went its way, meaning Fury will either have to fight him or negotiate a step aside.
