CIVIL servant Stu Turner turns heads after getting Britain’s worst haircut for charity.
The 36-year-old’s new look, also known as “ringhead”, is a thin, round strip of hair that runs around his chin, face and head.

He decided to do a radical fundraising trim after growing long, flowing locks and a full beard during the pandemic.
But the style was chosen by the person who donated the largest amount, £ 316.25 – happily pledged by Stu’s brother.
Stu said: “When everyone saw his idea, everyone jumped on board because it’s the worst thing you can imagine. Something less embarrassing would not have bothered me. “
His stunt raised over £ 1,000 for The Little Princess Trust and Cancer Research UK.
He said, “I went out the other day and my hair came down really well, which wasn’t expected.
“The weirdest thing was that some people didn’t assume it was a charity event or a bet – many thought it was a new, trending Gen Z-style haircut.”
It was done in Andreas Salon in Roath, Cardiff, where Stu lives – and lasted over an hour.
Stu said, “At the beginning of the first lockdown, I said I wouldn’t cut my hair or beard until we got back to the office.
“But what I was expecting for three months turned out to be 18 – so I had a lot of hair to lose.
“It was an adaptation. It’s definitely colder. “
