It had semi-transparent to medium buildable pigmentation (as marketed) that applied well on itself or over foundation as it did not tend to lift base products or the first layer of blush. The consistency was smooth, light and thin, but spreadable, mixable and very easy to work with. It lasted a good eight hours before fading a little.

The formula is said to be “failsafe” with “easy and even blending” that is “buildable” and “can be layered” for greater coverage. Depending on the brand, it can be applied with a “fluffy brush or with your fingers”. The pigmentation was semi-transparent to medium, buildable coverage that was easy to work with with a dab brush or fingertips.
I prefer to apply liquid and cream-based formulas with my fingertip and often use a finger (like my index finger) to first paint the paint on the area and then my middle or ring finger to blend and spread it. The formula worked well on both bare skin and foundation as it slid onto the skin, blended well, but didn’t tend to lift base products or “sink” into my pores.
The texture was light, thin, and spreadable without getting stained. It dried to a more transfer-resistant finish but retained a natural glow that looked like hydrated, glowing skin (but not baptism). They lasted between eight and nine hours with me before they faded a little.
