Natasha Denona Bloom Puff Paint Liquid Blush SerumNatasha Denona Bloom Puff Paint Liquid Blush Serum ($ 22.00 for 0.23 oz.) Is a darker raspberry pink with cool undertones and a natural finish – not quite baptismal, but still a bit bright and very “skin-like” as it looked quite hydrated. It had a semi-transparent to medium color coverage that was easy to apply and spread for an even layer of rouge. The product also built up easily, and a second and third coats were lightly applied on top of it without disturbing the first coat.

The liquid formula had a very thin, light consistency that wasn’t too watery, but glided great on and worked well on bare skin as well as foundation as it didn’t tend to lift my base products. The color lasted a good eight and a half hours before noticeably fading.

Formula overview

$ 22.00 / 0.23 oz. – $ 95.65 per ounce

The formula is said to be “failsafe” with “easy and even blending” that is “buildable” and “can be layered” for greater coverage. Depending on the brand, it can be applied with a “fluffy brush or with your fingers”. The pigmentation was semi-transparent to medium, buildable coverage that was easy to work with with a dab brush or fingertips.

I prefer to apply liquid and cream-based formulas with my fingertip and often use a finger (like my index finger) to first paint the paint on the area and then my middle or ring finger to blend and spread it. The formula worked well on both bare skin and foundation as it slid onto the skin, blended well, but didn’t tend to lift base products or “sink” into my pores.

The texture was light, thin, and spreadable without getting stained. It dried to a more transfer-resistant finish but retained a natural glow that looked like hydrated, glowing skin (but not baptism). They lasted between eight and nine hours with me before they faded a little.
