After Lil Nas X released “Montero,” T-Pain went to IG to praise the young rapper and devote himself to the rap game.
T-Pain is no stranger to shaking up the music industry, especially the rap game.
T-Pain came on the scene as a rapper best known for his use of autotune.
Jay-Z specifically wrote and published “DOA (Death of Auto-Tune), but in an episode that caused a four-year depression for the singer of” Buy U a Drank, “a flight attendant on the plane that brought pain to the 2013 Bet Awards woke the singer up and told Usher to speak to him. What started as small talk eventually escalated and ended with Usher Pain saying, “You really screwed up music for real singers.”

Pain said the depression that ensued resulted from Usher’s comments and the possibility that the “Love in This Club” singer was right. “Is he right? Did I screw up music?” Pain said he was surprised.
T-Pain has made it to the other side, however, and after finally reviewing those hidden DM requests, it started battling for artists, complaining earlier this year that artists are only a tiny 12 percent of record label profits in Raising a $ 17 billion mark, Pain hopped on Twitter today to share his thoughts on Lil Nas X and the rest of the hip-hop world.
First, Pain wrote that there are rappers who “have three times the budget Lil Nas X got and still can’t do what he does because they’re too cool to be funny,” Pain continued and said that other rappers “are too gangsta to make more money”. , “and finish with,” You don’t have to kiss a guy on the mouth, but I don’t have to feel like I’m going to die watching your video either. ”
Lil Nas X, who has had an incredible run lately, just released his debut album, Montero, which was preceded by one of the funnier album rollouts in recent history, including lap dances for Satan, pink prison uniforms, a fake daytime talk show, and most importantly Part – a two-week pregnancy and the birth of baby Montero. All of this kept Lil Nas at the forefront of almost every conversation, and except for those who were appalled by almost everything the 22-year-old rapper says or does, it was because the album rollout was terrific and fun.
T-Pain has recognized this and clearly believes that more rappers could benefit from adding more comedic elements to their processes. Nor did he say that anyone else had to fake pregnancy or anything, he just said that there are people out there who take themselves too seriously and could make more money by just loosening up.
Do you agree? Or is T-Pain far away here? Let us know in the comments.
