Milk Makeup Fly Bionic Liquid Blush ($ 20.00 for 0.27 oz.) Is a bright, vibrant coral red with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It didn’t seem to dry as quickly when I initially swatched it, but when I actually applied it to my cheeks and blended it in, it had a lot more of a dull dryness that ended up being pretty transfer resistant.

The formula was more gel-like and very fluid – almost too fluid – and worked better when used sparingly and built up where more coverage was needed, or it was easy to blend and blush all over your face than just your cheeks! It dried to a very matte finish after two minutes. It had a clear, buildable pigmentation like the ones marketed that stayed good for eight hours before fading a little.

Formula overview

$ 20.00 / 0.27 oz. – $ 74.07 per ounce

The blush is said to be “transparent” and buildable, while it feels “weightless” and has a “powdery finish”. It was a very runny, liquid-based formula at first, but it quickly dried to a completely flat, matte finish that was transfer-resistant. I was pretty surprised at how much it dried considering how runny it felt at first.

The four published shades were, as promised, more transparent and buildable, and they were pretty easy to work with. The only problem I had was the consistency was almost too runny and it was harder to apply in smaller areas / with precision while still getting visible color. I preferred to put a little on the back of my hand and then use a dab brush to lift and swirl my cheeks to “shorten” the drying time a little.

They lasted between eight and nine hours with me before they visibly faded.
