Mented Cosmetics Vacay Bronzer ($ 22.00 for 0.35 oz.) Is a medium dark maroon with a matte finish. It had a semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a soft, slightly powdery texture that looked finely ground, but also a little drier as a powder.
It was easiest to apply and blend on a slightly set, more luminous base, but it seemed to accentuate my skin’s texture and slight dryness when applied directly to bare skin or over a matte base. The way the powder sat on my skin was a problem I experienced with all of the shades in the series, including the lighter ones – it reminded me a lot of what I experienced with Charlotte Tilbury’s airbrush bronzers (the some seem really to love, so although it’s true.) of all products, your mileage may definitely vary!). It stayed decent for seven and a half hours before it visibly faded.

Formula overview
$ 22.00 –
The formula is said to be “rich in pigments” and “easy to mix”. The pigmentation was usually semi-opaque to opaque, and if it was not completely opaque it could certainly be built up. The texture felt soft, finely ground, and wasn’t too powdery (neither too tightly squeezed into the pan), but it was a bit dry.
On my slightly drier skin (at least at the time of the test) the formula wasn’t as mixable or flattering to wear as it seemed to accentuate the dryness. The formula was easiest to apply and blend on a lighter base that was lightly set with translucent powder, but it wasn’t ideal over a matte foundation or my bare skin. The bronzers lasted seven to eight hours on my skin before they faded.
The way the powder sits on my skin was a problem that I’ve experienced with all of the shades in the series can vary!).
