LYS Beauty Motivate No Limits Matte BronzerLYS Beauty Motivate No Limits Matte Bronzer ($ 18.00 for 0.23 oz.) Is light brown with subtle warm golden undertones and a matte finish. It had a semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a soft, slightly powdery texture that felt smooth and bolder, but a touch drier. The cover should be “ultra-buildable” but you would have to use a lighter hand for it to really work that way.

The product is applied evenly to bare skin and can be easily faded out both on bare skin and over the foundation. I was afraid it would look drier on my skin, but it sat well and didn’t emphasize the texture of the skin. This shadow stayed well on for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

Formula overview

$ 18.00 / 0.23 oz. – – $ 78.26 per ounce

The formula is said to be “ultra-buildable” and “easy to mix”. They were semi-opaque to opaque in terms of pigmentation, although the softer consistency made it possible, if desired, to absorb less product for an “ultra-buildable” application. The texture felt velvety and finely ground in the pan, but there was also a bit of dryness. There was some excess powder in the pan.

They applied better than expected as the formula appeared to be soft on my skin rather than dry. Most shades worked well on both bare skin and foundation, but I noticed that the deeper shades were easier to mix over a matte finish, whether that meant a matte foundation or over a setting powder, as it was sometimes darker have been or have been heavily applied to an area and not easily fade out from there. The bronzers carried me well for eight hours in total.
