Lisa Eldridge Charm Gloss Embrace lip gloss ($ 25.00 for 0.15 oz.) Is a medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and barely any pearl on an off-white base. It had a semi-transparent pigmentation that was as marketed that applied a little evenly to my lips. I had issues with the gloss getting into my deeper lip lines and gathering around texture imperfections, so it wasn’t a particularly flattering shade to me.
The texture felt smooth and light, more like a gel-like cream that made it spread comfortably on my lips and kept it from being sticky. It lasted a good three hours and felt moisturizing, but the settling worsened over time.

The formula is said to have a “medium to high pigment gloss” (depending on the shade; most are “medium” pigments) that makes the lips feel “silky smooth” and hydrated. The consistency was more like a creamier gel, so it was comfortable, spreadable, and felt soft on my lips without being sticky or heavy. Opacity varied from hue to hue, but ranged from medium to opaque, but tended to be what each hue should be.
The glosses were applied fairly evenly, with only minimal offset in my lip lines – the kind that is visible in the close-up photo, but not in person. They have a lot of shine which gives the illusion of slightly plumper lips, and it seemed to get a little smoother over time (an hour or more). The formula was really comfortable and moisturizing to wear, and it was one of the more moisturizing formulas I’ve tried in a while. There was no smell or taste.

Lisa Eldridge Affair Gloss Embrace Lipgloss ($ 25.00 for 0.15 oz.) Is a light-medium caramel brown with warm undertones and an off-white finish. It had medium pigmentation in a single layer that was applied evenly to my lips but accentuated my lip lines a little. The shine itself was comfortable to wear as it was plush, gel-like, and non-sticky while feeling cushioned. It lasted a good three hours and felt moisturizing over time.
