Laura Mercier Rose Ultimate Rouge Essentiel Silky Lipstick Cream Laura Mercier Rose Ultimate Rouge Essentiel Silky Lipstick Cream ($ 32.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a lighter, medium dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had a semi-opaque color release that didn’t build up much beyond that.
The consistency felt smooth, velvety, and thinner, so light but not clingy that the paint was applied fairly evenly. This shade lasted a good four and a half hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.

The formula is said to have a “strong color” with “weightless decadence” that is “moisturizing and smoothing”. The pigmentation was almost opaque to opaque in a single layer that could be applied smoothly and without tugging. The texture was slightly creamy but more velvety overall, so it could slide easily over my lips but not feel overly slippery.
The problem I had was that the formula wasn’t particularly forgiving of the natural lip texture or imperfections, so despite the exfoliation before application, it did highlight some areas that I wasn’t expecting as the formula was supposed to smooth out. It’s also leveled off a bit in deeper lip lines, which (in person, not just on the close-ups) stands out with lighter shades than lighter or deeper tones. They lasted between four and six hours and felt slightly moisturizing.

Is a rich raspberry pink with subtle, cool undertones and a satin sheen. It had rich coverage of paint in a single stroke that provided an even coat of paint that smoothed my lip lines.
The texture was light, slightly creamy, but with less traditional slippage or moisture, so despite having some sheen, it didn’t slip when worn. It worn well for six hours, staining and feeling slightly moisturizing when worn.
