Lancome Crème de Marron (254) L’Absolu Rouge Moisturizing lipstick ($ 32.00 for 0.14 oz.) Is a light, peach brown with moderate, warm undertones and a soft, glowing sheen. It had a semi-opaque pigmentation that could be built up with a second layer up to a largely opaque coverage.
The texture felt smooth, slightly creamy, and thinner to the touch with a hint of stickiness that helped hold it in place, but it didn’t feel. There was a bit of product that got stuck in my deeper lip lines that was visible in the close-ups but wasn’t enough to be seen in person from normal line of sight. It lasted a good four hours and felt slightly moisturizing when worn.

The formula is said to be “moisturizing” and “eight hours” to wear and is available in three finishes (transparent, cream and matte). The cream and matt tones are highly pigmented, while the transparent finish is of medium and buildable coverage.
The texture of the cream finish was slightly creamy, light and not too thin or too thick, so that it was pleasant, evenly applied and flattered on the lips. The matte finish was a bit thicker and “heavier” by comparison, although it was still easy to wear, and it had more of a satin finish to begin with, which dulled away after an hour or two. The clear finish was smoother and had a glossier finish with translucency, but wasn’t so clear that all shades would look the same.
Most shades did not last for eight hours on me, although the wearing time was closer to four to six hours, with most medium and deeper shades lasting five to six hours and the lighter shades and sheer finishing colors lasting closer to four hours. The formula was moisturizing on all three finishes.
There was a noticeable, powdery-floral scent that sometimes easily translated into a taste. It was a more fragrant product that I smelled for a few hours in the carrier, not just in the tube or when first applied.

Lancome Perfect Fig (265) L’Absolu Rouge moisturizing lipstick ($ 32.00 for 0.14 oz.) Is a darker, rosy plum with moderate, warm undertones and a bright finish with very faint pearl. It had rich coverage of paint in a single stroke that applied evenly and smoothly to my lips without tugging.
The consistency was light, thin, but not sticky, and had a hint of stickiness which helped make it feel slightly creamy but not slip that far. It lasted well for six hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.
