KATHARINE McPhee clapped back a troll who accused her of marrying 71-year-old David Foster for “money”.
The 36-year-old singer is currently expecting their first child together and paid tribute to her husband on Valentine’s Day.

“My eternal Valentine’s Day !! My best friend, my favorite person, my motivator, my everyday life! @Davidfoster I love you, biscuit,” she captioned the picture of the couple on the bank of a river.
But one follower chose to comment “there for the money” and when fans defended the star, Katharine quickly trudged back and simply wrote, “Obviously.”
David, 71, is a Canadian musician and producer who has worked with numerous iconic acts including Alice Cooper, Rod Stewart and Kenny Rogers.
He has been married five times, including to Yolanda Hadid, and is already the father of daughters Sara (39), Erin (38) and Jordan (34), Amy (47) from his first marriage and the oldest daughter Allison (50).

The couple first met when he was mentoring her and other contestants in the fifth season of American Idol in 2006.
Katharine and the musician-producer were married in June 2019 at St. Yeghiche Armenian Church in London, and in October 2020 sources revealed that they were expecting their first child.

The couple are also close friends with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry; Katharine is said to have gone to school with the pregnant queen.
David originally set them up in their $ 15 million mansion on Vancouver Island, and they reconnected when the former royals moved to California.

They were seen having dinner together in California’s Montecito neighborhood, and Katharine previously claimed that David now has a “father-figure” relationship with Harry and that the prince feels like family.
