I was surprised to see that this one and the other one it launched with it are both on the bright side as Kaja was a brand that released most of their trios without using very light matte shades – this is the one darker of the two. The quality was so-so; the middle shade was more transparent and powdery, while the other two shades were better.

Modern beige
Modern beige is a light beige with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had almost opaque pigmentation in a single layer that was applied evenly to bare skin and blended well with minimal fallout. The texture felt velvety and smooth without being too powdery or too tightly pressed in the pan. It has worn well for seven and a half hours before fading a little.

Java jazz is a darker, golden beige with muted, olive-colored undertones and a barely existing golden shimmer due to a rather matt finish. The texture was very soft, smooth, and finely ground, but a little powdery, which resulted in medium coverage. I could build it up easily, but it was never completely opaque. For me it took a good seven and a half hours.

Cocoa dip is a medium, muted brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was very smooth and silky with minimal powder, and it “melted” easily on my skin, giving it a smoother finish than I expected. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation that lasted well for eight hours.
