A TikToker didn’t hold back with her reaction to a follower who criticized her wedding ring in a comment.

Decipher and demystify the latest Generation Z online slang with the new glossary from In The Know.

Hannah Stella (@mrshannahstella) describes herself in her social media biographies as “your favorite dinner party guest” and “bonne vivant” – which translated from French means that someone enjoys the good things in life, especially food and drinks .

Comedian LaLa lives out her high school fantasy and swears by vintage Chanel and Louis Vuitton

Suffice it to say that her social media presence is otherwise very cheerful and filled with videos about her husband’s marriage and her glamorous life in New York City.

But a comment on a TikTok from Stella showing off her engagement ring – at the request of a follower – infuriated her.

“I can’t believe how stupid it is that you bought a Kwiat Diamonds ring to pay retail margins when you live in NYC and have access to them [Diamond District]“Wrote the commentator.

Founded in New York in 1907, Kwiat Diamonds is a diamond jeweler known for its engagement rings and vintage jewelry. According to its website, the cheapest engagement ring starts at $ 1,400.

Stella’s special ring is a natural emerald cut solitaire diamond that her husband selected for the marriage proposal.

“I love your passion, but I hate your attitude and the assumptions you make,” Stella said in response to the commentator’s criticism. “It is my right to spend my money how I want – or in this case my husband’s right to spend his money how he wants.”

Stella added that a friend of hers is an investor in Kwiat so her husband was able to take advantage of this during the purchase.

“I also went to the Diamond District and spoke to three different jewelers and got an offer for the same carat size and specifications and each and every one of them called me between $ 18,000 and $ 27,000 more than we paid,” added Stella .

The story goes on

“I understand that I may be able to spend my money in ways that some of you may not want, and that’s fine, we all have different priorities, different preferences, different financial situations,” she continued, “but it does really isn’t your job telling me what to do. “

Stella’s other followers largely supported her reaction to the commenter.

“I’m watching you BECAUSE you are spending money in ways I wouldn’t,” one person joked.

“It is none of their business how you and her husband spend their money,” said another.

“[It’s] so sticky to obsess over and question how others spend their money, ”someone agreed. “Everyone should just focus on themselves.”
