ILIA Stutter Color Haze Multi-Use PigmentILIA Stutter Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment ($ 32.00 for 0.23 oz.) Is a muted, medium-dark coral with strong, warm orange tones and a semi-matte finish. It had a slightly thicker, more gel-like consistency that spread evenly over bare skin, but dried to a semi-matte finish (which set this formula apart from their other cheek / lip formulas).

As a cheek product, it was easy to use because it spreads well and can be blended without any problems. The texture was noticeably stickier and harder to wear on my lips as it was a bit thin and clingy. It wore a good seven hours as a cream blush and two hours as a lip product that didn’t dry out over time.

It is said to have a “buildable” cover that can be worn as a “splash of color” or built up for “richer, bolder payouts”. It can be used on both cheeks and lips. The consistency has a smooth, liquid cream consistency – much more spreadable and smoother than a cream blush in a pot, but a bit denser and richer than a real liquid blush. On my lips it was thinner, more sticky in consistency and moderately sticky. The opacity was light to medium (depending on how much product was applied or which tool was used) and could be built up a bit, but was difficult to achieve beyond medium.

The colors I tried spread out well on my cheeks without accentuating my skin texture or lifting the foundation, and they mostly dried out. As a lip product, the color went pretty well, but the lighter shade tended to get stuck in my lip lines while the deeper shade was more flattering. As a cheek color they lasted six to seven hours and as a lip product between two and three hours and did not dry out.

It had a sweet vanilla scent and there was a slight tingling sensation on my skin when I used it as a cheek paint, but I didn’t notice anything on my lips.
