Includes four shimmering shades of different versions of copper – they were more alike than they needed to be! The texture of the formula was where the palette fell short; it was tighter, denser, and thicker overall, which made it more difficult to pick up the product evenly with a brush.
To do this I usually had to use my brush to push up or poke a little to get the product to pull away from the surface to be picked up with an already denser, flatter brush. After I dissolved the product it was pretty mixable and luckily not difficult to apply / blend onto my skin.

Empire # 1
Empire # 1 is a medium copper with warm, reddish undertones with a lighter, orange shimmer and larger sparkles. It had a moderately metallic finish on the skin that built up in its luminous intensity with additional layers.
The texture was dense to the point where it was pressed tighter into the pan and it was more difficult to pick up the product evenly. As long as I could get the product on my brush, the product itself was applied evenly and blended without difficulty. It held on me for a good eight hours before it visibly faded.

Empire # 2 is a medium, reddish copper with moderate, warm undertones and a high-gloss, metallic finish. It had an opaque paint cover with a moderately dense, creamy texture that was slightly firmer, but it picked up on a moderately dense blusher without too much difficulty. The powder is applied evenly to bare skin and blended well without emphasizing the structure of the skin. It lasted a good eight hours before fading a little.

Empire # 3
Empire # 3 is a soft copper brown with warm undertones and a pearlescent sheen. It looked browner in the pan than when it was actually patterned. The texture was moderately firm in the pan which made it difficult to pick up evenly with a brush, so the powder really had to be swirled and squeezed to remove the product.
It had an opaque paint cover once it peeled off the surface of the pan. This shade wore decently for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

Empire # 4
Empire # 4 is a rich, deep bronze with warm, red undertones and a lighter, coppery sheen. It had a very high-gloss, metallic finish that added a bit of emphasis to the texture of my skin, even when worn with a more moderate level of coverage.
It was richly pigmented with a creamy texture, although it ended up being a powder as it was a bit thicker and denser overall. You’ll need a heavier hand and a thicker, flatter brush to pick up the product evenly as it has been squeezed tighter into the pan. It took a good eight hours before it visibly faded.
