New Delhi: A good month after the first preview, Google recently published the first Pixel 6 teaser. With the slogan “For All You Are”, the 30-second video offers viewers a first real, non-rendered look at the hardware.

The teaser shows the design of the handsets, some Android 12 elements and the new Tensor chipset. The video was posted on Made by Google’s official YouTube account. It starts by turning up the volume (with Android 12’s new slider UI) and asking, “What if smartphones weren’t just smart?”
In between you can see a shot of someone picking up a hidden Pixel 6 Pro in gold. “What if your phone saw you for who you are?” is accompanied by four clips of people holding the Pixel 6 in different colors: Gold 6 Pro (again), White 6 Pro, Green / Petrol 6 and Orange 6.

This is noteworthy, according to 9to5Google, as Google didn’t allow a release to take live images of the hardware in August and only provided official renders – which reappear in this teaser. However, the teaser unfortunately doesn’t offer a good live view of the Pixel 6’s screen, which Google doesn’t really have to show yet. However, we can see that the lower bezel is thicker than the other three sides.

The upcoming series will include two models: Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. Both smartphones will have a punch-hole design, a dual-tone back and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Pixel 6 will have a 90 Hz, 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED display, while the Google Pixel 6 Pro will have a 120 Hz, 6.7-inch QHD + AMOLED screen. The Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have a tensor chipset combined with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The Pixel 6 will contain a 4,614 mAh battery, while the Pixel 6 Pro will house a 5,000 mAh battery. The duo will support 33W fast charging, Android 12 OS and Wi-Fi 6, as well as 5G connectivity.

While Google has not yet confirmed the launch date of the Pixel 6 series, some of the clock widgets in the teaser suggest that the launch will take place on October 19th, according to a report by 9to5Google.

So far, the company has only stated that the phones will arrive “later this fall”. The rumor mill has it that the new Pixel smartphones will be available from October 28th.
