New Delhi: Tech giant Google is finally adding a desktop dark mode to its search engine to give a freshened look to users who like to access apps and computer software in Dar mode.
For those who prefer to avoid bright web pages, the latest advancement from Google can prove to be wonders.
Users can easily change the display settings in Google Chrome. According to a report by Verge, users can put the search engine into dark mode with simple steps. Users need to go to Settings> Search Settings> Appearance.
After the process, the settings will give the user the option to choose light, dark, or device default that will automatically follow the computer mode.
The “Appearance” option may not be available to all users as The Verge quoted Google as saying that the setting “will be rolled out in the next few weeks,” as is the case with many of its updates.
Google has been testing search in dark mode for some time. The test of the same for desktops was reported back in February. Also read: Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft made billions in the war on terror
