And then there is the dialogue. With the exception of animated cutscenes, there are no voice actors, so it all depends a lot on the quality of the word stitching on the screen. As someone who doesn’t mind reading pages that expand game stories or Codex pages, I don’t care a bit about text driven games. But I’m interested in conversations and thoughtless, clumsy lines disguised as my words. NS Ace Attorney Chronicle It’s full of this.

The dialogue itself is inferior but is made worse by the hard work and the very harrowing use of racist discourse. The game is set in the Victorian British and Japanese Meiji Era and seeks to reflect that timeframe. That’s fine. After all, many games channel topics like racism and hegemony.
But for some reason, and in perfect alignment with the game’s repetitive tactics … and more repetitive, the dialogue constantly slips into the derogatory references of “Japan” and “Eastern Wizard,” the character called “Dark Jinx,” even throws one Character, “You Japanese like to stick together.” And all of that in the first three chapters. I became insensitive and then stopped counting. Yes, it was a racist era and the worst of times for the British, but this song and dance doesn’t get the story any further than to distract and sit at the glacier pace.

That it has been like this for 20 years Ace Attorney franchise has fans all over the world and is perhaps impressive. Ace Attorney Chronicle appeal to many people. That is a clear possibility. But for my part, I can’t recommend wrinkling excuses for this game to anyone looking for entertainment.
And I really wanted to like this game. I expected more from the launch of the series I’ve always wanted to play. Maybe all games are like that. Ace Attorney The series probably isn’t like that. I could check out a few others, but I’m in no rush. At this point, I’d rather revisit WWE 2K20.
