Giorgio Armani Romanza (102) Lip Power Satin lipstick ($ 38.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a light to medium peach with moderate, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had a semi-transparent color coverage that could be built up with two coats up to medium pigmentation.
The texture was slightly creamy, smooth, and comfortable to apply, but it tended to get stuck in my lip lines and trap texture imperfections – which only worsened as the formula got a little stickier and a little stickier (took about a minute). This shade lasted three hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.

Formula overview

The formula is said to have “satin, vivid colors with buildable coverage that lasts all day” (they claim to “wear 8 hours” without having to reapply). I found that the opacity varied widely from lighter to deeper shades, and shades with mother-of-pearl and more luminosity to the finish tended to be more transparent, a little more buildable, and tended to cluster in my lip lines.
More mid-tones and deeper color tones tended to have a real satin finish – not too glossy, but not matt – and had more semi-opaque to opaque coverage – so they could not be built up as much. The texture was light, creamy, and smooth without being too dense or too soft in the tube. I found the formula to feel shinier and more balsamic at first, but felt slightly sticky on top, not emollient, and a bit clingy compared to the original texture (not badly clingy for most of the time!).
As expected, lighter, more transparent shades did not wear as long or as well as medium and darker, satin shades. Lighter shades lasted between three and four hours while darker shades lasted between four and six hours, with few reaching nearly eight hours. The formula was comfortable to wear and moisturized slightly to moderately over time.

Giorgio Armani Androgino (103) Lip Power Satin lipstick ($ 38.00 for 0.11 oz.) Is a light to medium, peach colored coral with moderate, warm undertones and a slightly pearly sheen. It had medium pigmentation that could be built up to a semi-opaque covering power with a second pass.
The lipstick had an initial texture that was soft, smooth, and comfortable to wear, but it evolved into something that was a little clingy and sticky which emphasized my lip texture / lip lines. It lasted a good three and a half hours and felt slightly moisturizing when worn.
