- What’s your decorating style?: I don’t think I have one … versatile? Somewhere between modern and somewhat woody. Sometimes I call it modern farmhouse, but more modern than farmhouse!

After we redesigned the backyard, Mellan became a very attentive landscaper who regularly checked the water level in the well and checked plants for insects and overgrowth. He even inspected under trees! When he first had to inspect the water well, he was extremely confused about why someone would put such a small pool in the yard …
The patch on its side came from an infected allergy that resulted in it having to be shaved. We started to call it sketchy because it didn’t grow very quickly. He still had a little bit of inconsistency over a year later after that incident!
