- Recent purchases / rediscoveries: Sephora #LipStories Astrology Lipsticks
- Weekend plans: On the blog! I was lucky enough to be a little ahead of what I used up earlier this month, but I’m less (generally) stressed out when I’m a little ahead, so I aim to get there. “Ahead” just means I may have to leave reviews for a day and then leave some reviews spread over the next week!
- Do you garden or keep house plants?: I have some house plants – seven I think! – and I cut back the bougainvilleas and orchid trees we planted last year.

This photo set is from July 2013 (he was around 5.5 years old) when we lived in California. We bought our first house the year before and while my parents had (have) a pool … it was obsessed with pools. He acted like an addict who got messed up when we visited my parents. He would howl and cry and moan and effectively act like he was being tortured for not being allowed to swim in my parents’ house. He was a water dog!
I got him a kiddy pool for the summer, which certainly puzzled him, but ultimately still enjoyed it … just nowhere near the level of joy he got from an actual pool. 😂
