DIRECTOR DUNN

Fraser Dunn, chief engineer for special projects at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd., joins the Project Arrow team at the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA), which is currently developing the first Canadian-made, zero-emission, autonomous vehicle. Dunn will be the project’s chief engineer. At the British sports car manufacturer, Dunn worked on vehicles such as the Vulcan and Valkyrie hypercar. He is now leaving Ashton Martin and joining the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) project full-time. “He takes the dream and builds it,” said Flavio Volpe, President of (APMA) Automotive News. Currently, over 335 Canadian companies have pledged $ 100 million for the project, he said. After completion of the car, the vehicle will go on tour in 2020.
