The formula is said to have “pure to medium, buildable” coverage with a “moisturizing shine” while also helping to “reduce fine, dry lines and lip flakes”. The majority of the shades had a medium-sized buildable cover that could be built up to a near-opaque cover.
The lighter shades were the least forgiving and were sometimes emphasized or gathered around lip lines and lip textures, while the mid-tone and deeper shades were often applied with even coverage and in a way that made my lips appear smoother and plusher. The consistency was light with moderate slip, making it feel like a lipstick-lip balm hybrid. The finish was shinier and brighter (without being too shimmery / pearly).
They were comfortable and moisturizing to wear, although they were shorter due to the slippage, so most colors were worn for three hours, with some of the richer and deeper colors lasting almost five hours on me. They had a sweet, vanilla-like smell but no discernible taste.
