As stated on the company’s website, Tesla, Elon Musk’s electric car company, was founded with the idea of ​​representing the future of driving.

At the core of that promise was autopilot, a combination of functions that could steer, brake, and accelerate the company’s sleek electric vehicles on freeways.

According to a report by DailyMail.co.uk, Elon Musk has misled customers and compromised safety using the autopilot driving system previously blamed for fatalities, according to Tesla whistleblowers.

Former employees have made malicious allegations that Musk, the second richest man in the world, contributed to the dangers posed by the autopilot system by refusing to use sensors in favor of cameras.

According to statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least ten people have died in eight accidents involving Tesla’s autopilot since 2016.

Separately, the US Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Tesla for allegedly failing to fully inform shareholders and the public about the risk of its solar panels catching fire.

Tesla customers are suing the company for misrepresentation of autopilot and a number of sister services known as Full Self Driving, or FSD, and families are suing Tesla for fatal collisions.
