Sun’s Xmas Cards for Kids campaign aims to help those in need
And now, print.com has quickly turned them into limited edition cards.
To buy yours and make a child with cancer smile, simply visit our campaign partner Young Lives vs Cancer website at shop.younglivesvscancer.org.uk or visit one of the charity’s 13 stores across the country.
The packs contain 12 cards and envelopes – four of each of the winning designs – and cost just £ 4 a pack, with every penny buying toys for children with cancer this Christmas.
Konnie said, “I have mine and I’ve already started writing them!
“So go ahead and order some now so you can do the same and buy as many gifts as you can for as many of these children with cancer this Christmas”.
The cards will arrive in two to three days – enough time to write and mail to your loved ones this Christmas.
Young Lives vs. Cancer charities are located in Bridgwater, Clevedon, Wells, and Yeovil in Somerset; Downend, Fishponds, Staple Hill and Keynsham in Bristol; Exeter, Newton Abbot, and Tiverton in Devon; Saltash in Cornwall; and Gloucester.
Young Lives vs Cancer Ambassador Gaby said, “I am so proud to be a judge for this wonderful competition.
“I’ve seen the charity’s work firsthand.
“It’s wonderful to think that children designed cards to buy gifts for other children with cancer.”
Our youngest winning designer – in the under five category – is Monty Stuart of Lytham, Lancs, who told his proud mother, Helen, “I want to make poor children smile.”
Helen, a 39-year-old teacher, said, “Monty’s father, Tom and I, spoke to our children about the importance of helping others, especially around Christmas.”
The six to ten year old champion was Siobhan Khan, ten, of Edgware, north London.
Proud mother Miruna, 40, who volunteers for Oxfam, told us: “The map shows me and Siobhan skating on a frozen lake while the houses on our street are lit up.
“We are so proud of her. She always thinks of others. “
Hannah Keeling, 14, from Stoke on Trent, was the winner in the 11-16 category.
Mom Katie, 43, explained, “Hannah’s card features a star of hope and took three hours to make.
“When we heard that Hannah had won, she couldn’t wait to tell her friends about it.
“Christmas cards are such a nice tradition, much more personal than a text message.
“I hope all of your readers buy many tickets for such a good cause.”
