While millions of Americans have welcomed Covid-19’s cash relief as part of the third round of economic inspections, there is a handy website to keep an eye on the coin.
The stimulus check status can be verified by checking the “Get My Payment” tool of the IRS.

The site is a virtual hub to find out when and how qualified recipients can expect a payment.
“Every week we send out the third round of Economic Impact Payments to eligible individuals as we continue to process tax returns,” the statement said on the website.
Worried that your stimulus check didn’t arrive? The IRS suggests it could take longer.
“If you haven’t received a payment, it doesn’t mean you haven’t received it,” the website says.

The agency uses three payment methods; either a direct deposit, a paper check in the mail, or a debit card.
There are also efforts to bring the need “automatically … to as many people as possible”.
There is also an opportunity to raise additional money.
The website describes what are known as “plus-up payments”, which provide more assistance to those who may need additional help due to the 2020 tax filings.

The IRS also gives Americans the ability to keep up to date on tax returns; including any balances owed as well as a payment history and both planned and outstanding payments.
The stimulus checks are part of the introduction of the American Rescue Plan, which has been securing monthly stimulus payments worth up to 1,400 US dollars to households since March 12th.
This week, the agency counted 2.3 million additional business stimulus checks sent to households as part of its latest financial assistance, valued at “more than $ 4.2 billion”.
In the past two weeks, payments include more than 1.2 million direct deposit checks that ended up in Americans’ $ 2.2 billion bank accounts, and the remainder were sent on paper.

As the third round of the stimulus phase continues, Washington DC continues to debate whether or not a fourth stimulus check could be offered.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters last week, “The president is certainly open to a number of ideas.”
These include recent infrastructure investment proposals and the Americans Families Plan.
Various Democratic lawmakers have sent formal letters to President Biden urging a fourth review.

As for the value of the stimulus checks, a recent report provided evidence that the aid has benefited countless Americans in need.
“We believe the success of the federal government’s relief efforts is due to the speed, breadth and flexibility of its broad-based approach, which relies primarily on cash transfers,” confirmed a Census Bureau report published by Poverty Solutions researchers.
The study found that food insufficiency decreased by over 40 percent between December 2020 and April 2021.
Federal funding particularly helped low-income households and contributed 45 percent relief to financial inadequacy; and there has been a 20 percent decrease in reports of symptoms of depression.
