An emirate and two expatriates won the grand second prize of Dh1 million in this week’s Mahzooz millionaires draw. At the 35th Weekly Mahzooz Live Draw, three winners – an emirate, a Filipina and a Russian – each saw Dh333,333 when they hit five out of six numbers and shared the second prize of Dh1 million.

This is the first time that a woman from the Emirates has won the big prize money in the draw.

Emirati citizen F. Ahmed, 39, said her inspiration for participating in Mahzooz was the benevolent aspect of the draw.

“When I found out about Mahzooz, I was just so fascinated by the idea of entering a raffle and donating a bottle of water to those in need. So participating in Mahzooz has always been a win-win situation for me. I won the fourth prize of Dh35 and once the third prize of Dh1,000 several times, but winning Dh333,333 is a different story. I feel happy and blessed “,

“As a wife and mother of two children, this prize money is a great gift for our family. It will also help me start my journey into the investment world, ”said F. Ahmed.

Rea, the 41-year-old Filipina, said she was overjoyed with the surprise victory, even more because her mother visited her and the prize money will help her get a residency visa for her mother so she can stay with Rea.

“My mother came to visit me in Dubai but could not fly back to the Philippines due to the travel restrictions of Covid-19. That is a blessing, because now I can use this prize money to apply for a residence visa for her so that she can stay here with me, ”said Rea happily.

Filipina has lived in Dubai for 13 years and works as a food analyst for a food packaging company.

“Last Sunday I was having morning coffee with my mother when I saw the email from Mahzooz saying I had won Dh333,333. I just couldn’t believe it. I showed my mother’s email and we both shed tears of joy. “

For the Russian winner Muslim Saduev – father of five – the second prize in Mahzooz is a turning point in his life.

“My wife and children are very happy about this victory, which changed our lives in no time at all. Now I can secure the future of my family,” said 42-year-old Saduev.

If you missed the live draw last week, you can take part in Mahzooz by registering at www.mahzooz.ae and buying a bottle of water. Every bottle of water purchased (for Dh 35) entitles to a payline and the donation is channeled through Mahzooz’s community partners to provide those in need with fluids.

The next drawing will take place as scheduled on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. UAE time.
