Winter poppies (862)
Dior Winter Poppy (862) blush Dior lip color (2021) ($ 40.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a medium dark pinkish red with strong, cool blue undertones and a flat, matte finish. It had a semi-opaque color release paired with a denser consistency that was non-emollient and had little gliding power, so it wasn’t as easy to apply in a single stroke.
It was easier to apply in shorter, overlapping strokes for the most even finish possible. While it was a little clingy compared to other finishes in the range, it didn’t seem to have any tendency to accentuate my lip texture or lip lines. The paint lasted six and a half hours and left a heavy stain, even though it was only slightly moisturizing overall – I definitely had to apply lip balm a few hours after removing it.

Formula overview
$ 40.00 –
The formula should be “radiant, long-lasting color” with “16 [hour] Convenience. “Based on marketing, the” 16 [hour] Comfort “claim seems to be tied to how moisturizing / smoothing the formula is, not necessarily the color itself, as it was associated with” lip care “ingredients” red peony and pomegranate blossom extracts “.
In the shades I tested, the pigmentation was semi-opaque to opaque, while the consistency was slightly softening, smooth and pleasant to apply to my lips in one liquid movement with a single line. Opacity was generally even, although the more metallic hues were softer than the other finishes and were a little more prone to sticking to my lip lines than the satin, matte, and velvet finishes.
They wore between four and six hours, with the matte and velvety shades lasting longer (six to eight), making some shades longer-lasting than the average bullet lipstick. The formula was comfortable to wear and ranged from slightly moisturizing to moisturizing, with the mats being the least moisturizing.
It was floral-scented with a very light taste at times, although I didn’t taste it consistently.

Red Pansy (858)
Dior Red Pansy (858) Rouge Dior Lip Color (2021) ($ 40.00 for 0.12 oz.) Is a deep red with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, slightly creamy consistency that was light, thin, but non-sticky and easy to apply in a liquid line. The formula smoothed out some of my lip lines, but the deepest ones were still visible in the close-up photo (not so very personal). It lasted a good six hours and felt moisturizing when worn.
