Tesla has confirmed rumors that Cybertruck’s electric pickup trucks have been delayed and revealed that the long-awaited truck will roll off the assembly line next year. According to a recent update, the Tesla Cybertruck order page shows “When production approaches in 2022, we will be able to complete the configuration”.

The delay isn’t surprising, however, as Cyberstuck’s production is already behind schedule. When Tesla CEO Elon Musk presented the Cybertruck in 2019, it should have been on the assembly line by the end of 2021. When Tesla’s fourth quarter earnings announcement came out in January of this year, Musk said “some deliveries” of Cybertruck will be made towards the end of the year. However, he does not expect mass production to begin until 2022.

For beginners, Cybertruck is one of Tesla’s most ambitious projects to date. In that announcement, the musk was almost infiltrated thanks to its ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel skin, Tesla’s “armored” glass (which cracked and sparked when tested in the announcement). It turned out to be with the look of a stainless steel exoskeleton (excessive memes), autopilot function, etc.

The Cybertruck range starts with a single engine rear-wheel drive model that offers a range of over 400 km on a single charge. There is an all-wheel-drive version of the double engine with a range of over 480km and the Range Topper is an all-wheel-drive tri-engine model with a range of over 800km. From a performance point of view, the entry-level version claims a time of 0-96 km / h in less than 6.5 seconds. The Trimotor variant completes the execution within 2.9 seconds (request).

At the track launch event, it was announced that entry-level cybertracks will be on sale prior to the incentive at an introductory price of $ 39,900, with twin-engine AWD and three-engine AWD variants for $ 49,900 and $ 69,900, respectively. But in another statement, Musk said the truck could “literally cost $ 1 million apiece” because the company couldn’t make enough “4680” battery cells.
